Nestling in the valley of the River Dee, just over 2 miles from Llangollen in North Wales, Dee Valley Cottages are in an ideal location for exploring the area. Our two self-catering cottages, Wagtails and Swallows command spectacular views across the Dee Valley, known for its beauty, peace and quiet. The cottages are ideal for a romantic week away, or a well deserved short break. With easy access to Chester, Oswestry, Shrewsbury and Wrexham, as well as the delights of North Wales.

For the more energetic the area offers a host of activities, from exploring the miles of public footpaths, to fishing the River Dee or bird watching in the many woods and forests, we can even arrange driving lessons for you - on a steam train, or weather permitting hot air balloon rides; we have it all.
