Mrs Margaret Kirby would like to welcome you to Walston Mansion Farmhouse, as recommended in Which magazine's Good B&B Guide. Well known for our hospitality creating a real home from home atmosphere, where guests return year after year.

We are recommended for our home cooking we have a hearty breakfast menu and delicious evening meals using home produced meat, eggs and organic vegetables and the irresistable aroma of freshly-baked Farmhouse bread. We have central heating through out with log fire in the guest lounge Walston Mansion Farmhouse was built in 1803 in the peaceful countryside close to the Scottish Borders.

We are in a lovely walking area and are your ideal base for touring the Scottish Borders and the Clyde Valley. Edinburgh is only 24 miles away with lots to see and do.
Glasgow is 30 miles away with lovely historic buildings and National Trust properties to visit. The New Lanark Conservation Village, recently awarded World Heritage status is 13 miles away. You'll also find five fabulous golf courses within a 15 minute drive and horse riding can also be arranged close by.

Our facilities include a TV/video and tea and coffee making facilities in all rooms. We have a childrens toy cupboard and videos and there are lots of small animals for guests to see. We can also accommodate pets by arrangement.
